Fiddle Workshop at Tulsa Strings

June 21, 12-3:00pm

You'll love this fun workshop. Everyone wants to play "Orange Blossom Special".  This workshop is designed to help you learn how to play this old time favorite. Rick Morton & Shelby Eicher are teaming up to give you individualized tips, method, and application tools to master the tune. Not only will you learn to play this song, but you'll take home valuable tools that will help you master other fiddle tunes. Workshop is open to beginning to intermediate playing level.  Class maximum is 10 students, so sign up now.

Rick Morton hails from Broken Arrow Oklahoma and teaches in our studio at Tulsa Strings. He plays & teaches fiddle, acoustic guitar & mandolin.  He is also band leader and teacher for the Rockin' Acoustic Circus.  Rick's students learn many different styles of music including as bluegrass, country , blues, jass and western swing.  He is also a contest fiddle teacher.  Shelby Eicher plays and teaches fiddle and mandolin. He worked with Roy Clark for 15 years on Hee Haw & has recorded albums with Roy, Hank Thompson, Leon McAlliffe, J. J. Cale & The Tractors. Presently he teaches and performs in the Tulsa Oklahoma area with Mark Bruner. www.shelbyeicher.com
